Jason R. Donnelly On average I listen to 5 albums a day, from five different genres, and most importantly; five bands/projects I have never heard before. Thom is huge influence on what I do, and quite a few bands could take notes. Thom does it by himself, and he sounds heavier than bands with 9 people. For what it’s worth, when people talk about how much “music sucks now,” I politely shut off their terrestrial radio, and direct them to Planning For Burial.

Favorite track: Dull Knife pt. II

gothboi Beautiful record. Warm and soul-crushing. Any fan of Sludge or Shoegaze will absolutely love it. Favorite track: Warmth Of You.

Dillon Dix So viscerally angry and upset, a true statement of negativity. this album breathes an energy into me unlike anything else. Favorite track: Whiskey and Wine.

Track Name: Whiskey and Wine
It's true
I couldn't keep my hands
off of you
I rot
where you are warm
In the lust of love
On my knees
I am
weak
Track Name: Threadbare
Who are you
In the late hours
of early morning?

I recognize the smile
as a distant reminder
this ever fading memory
of who we once were

yet
you’re still here
and
you’re still here
though
you’re losing your glow
Track Name: Somewhere In The Evening
did days
always
disappear
so easily
chasing you
down
to the bottom?
Track Name: Warmth Of You
The warmth of you
The warmth in you
through and through
didn’t want to leave it
couldn’t bare to leave
though I tried
I tried
I tried
I tried

I wanted you
Thought I needed you
pain and all
Couldn’t stand the distance
though I tried
I tried
I tried
I tried
Track Name: Dull Knife pt. I
This is the place I live
but it's not my home
This is the place I live
my roots don't grow
Track Name: Dull Knife pt. II
I am fog
rolling across
rooftops
living though
not alive

floated in the direction
that I thought I heard
your voice
on the wind
calling me back home
calling me back
Track Name: Below The House
Where does your love lay?
below the house?
growing in the darkness
(my love my love my love my love)
amongst the dirt
amongst the dust
(my love my love my love my love)
hidden from the world
(my love my love my love my love)
my love it surely waits
(my love my love my love my love)
