Desideratum was written in various stages between October 2010 and December 2013. It wasn't recorded until the time between May and December 2013, except selections from the song "Desideratum" which were recorded in October 2010. All recordings were done at my home in Matawan NJ.

Track Name: Where You Rest Your Head at Night
When it's late
and
I can't sleep
I'd circle your block
Looking for any signs
That you may
Still be awake
And
If I were to call you
Would you come
Outside to talk
and
If it got too cold
Would you invite me in
To show me
Where you rest your head at night
Track Name: Desideratum
I needed you here
I needed you tonight
I'll always
Track Name: 29 August 2012
We walked to the beach that night
Sand felt soft beneath my bare feet
and
Your nerves, were as clear as the moon
Oh, so selfish of me
I was was just happy to feel
Anything at all
As the sound of the waves
Crashed into my heart

I remembered the moon
and
the way you looked
at me
Track Name: Golden
Laying on your bed
In your parents house
Listening to your favorite
Records on repeat
Thinking about the girls
Who want nothing to do with you

Well the golden years
Never happened to you
Or anyone you thought you knew
They all grew up to be
miserable adults
just waiting
for the day
they get
to die
